What you can ask PayPal

Ask in plain language, with no slash commands. PayPal replies in the thread so the whole team sees the result.

These are examples of the kind of request to try. What PayPal can do depends on your PayPal account and permissions.

How to chat with PayPal in a channel

  1. Enable it for the workspace. An admin or owner opens the Apps tab, switches to MCP, finds PayPal and enables it.
  2. Connect your account. Each person signs in to PayPal once. FabricLoop acts as you, using your permissions.
  3. Message it directly. Select PayPal in the left nav or in Messages to chat with it in its own channel.
  4. Or mention it in any channel. Type @, pick PayPal and describe what you want. It replies in the thread on your message, so everyone in the channel can see it, and you can keep going there for follow-ups.

Read more in the help centre: talk to an installed app, the MCP catalog and installing a channel app.

PayPal integration FAQ

What is the PayPal MCP server URL?

The PayPal MCP server is at https://mcp.paypal.com/mcp. FabricLoop connects to it for you when an admin enables PayPal, so you do not paste the URL anywhere.

How do I use PayPal in FabricLoop?

An admin enables PayPal from the Apps tab under MCP and each person connects their own PayPal account. Then select PayPal in the left nav or in Messages to chat with it in its own channel, or type @ in any channel, pick PayPal and ask in plain language. In a channel it replies in the thread.

Who can see what PayPal returns?

PayPal replies in the channel thread, so everyone in that channel sees the answer. It uses the connecting person's PayPal permissions, and the connection does not expand anyone's membership in FabricLoop.

Is there an integration you do not have?
