What you can ask Ramp

Ask in plain language, with no slash commands. Ramp replies in the thread so the whole team sees the result.

These are examples of the kind of request to try. What Ramp can do depends on your Ramp account and permissions.

How to chat with Ramp in a channel

  1. Enable it for the workspace. An admin or owner opens the Apps tab, switches to MCP, finds Ramp and enables it.
  2. Connect your account. Each person signs in to Ramp once. FabricLoop acts as you, using your permissions.
  3. Message it directly. Select Ramp in the left nav or in Messages to chat with it in its own channel.
  4. Or mention it in any channel. Type @, pick Ramp and describe what you want. It replies in the thread on your message, so everyone in the channel can see it, and you can keep going there for follow-ups.

Read more in the help center: talk to an installed app, the MCP catalog and installing a channel app.

Ramp integration FAQ

What is the Ramp MCP server URL?

The Ramp MCP server is at https://mcp.ramp.com/mcp. FabricLoop connects to it for you when an admin enables Ramp, so you do not paste the URL anywhere.

How do I use Ramp in FabricLoop?

An admin enables Ramp from the Apps tab under MCP and each person connects their own Ramp account. Then select Ramp in the left nav or in Messages to chat with it in its own channel, or type @ in any channel, pick Ramp and ask in plain language. In a channel it replies in the thread.

Who can see what Ramp returns?

Ramp replies in the channel thread, so everyone in that channel sees the answer. It uses the connecting person's Ramp permissions, and the connection does not expand anyone's membership in FabricLoop.
