What you can ask Supabase

Ask in plain language, with no slash commands. Supabase replies in the thread so the whole team sees the result.

These are examples of the kind of request to try. What Supabase can do depends on your Supabase account and permissions.

How to chat with Supabase in a channel

  1. Enable it for the workspace. An admin or owner opens the Apps tab, switches to MCP, finds Supabase and enables it.
  2. Connect your account. Each person signs in to Supabase once. FabricLoop acts as you, using your permissions.
  3. Message it directly. Select Supabase in the left nav or in Messages to chat with it in its own channel.
  4. Or mention it in any channel. Type @, pick Supabase and describe what you want. It replies in the thread on your message, so everyone in the channel can see it, and you can keep going there for follow-ups.

Read more in the help center: talk to an installed app, the MCP catalog and installing a channel app.

Supabase integration FAQ

What is the Supabase MCP server URL?

The Supabase MCP server is at https://mcp.supabase.com/mcp?read_only=true. FabricLoop connects to it for you when an admin enables Supabase, so you do not paste the URL anywhere.

How do I use Supabase in FabricLoop?

An admin enables Supabase from the Apps tab under MCP and each person connects their own Supabase account. Then select Supabase in the left nav or in Messages to chat with it in its own channel, or type @ in any channel, pick Supabase and ask in plain language. In a channel it replies in the thread.

Who can see what Supabase returns?

Supabase replies in the channel thread, so everyone in that channel sees the answer. It uses the connecting person's Supabase permissions, and the connection does not expand anyone's membership in FabricLoop.
